Galle

Galle is a historic coastal city on the southern tip of Sri Lanka, famous for the beautifully preserved 17th-century Dutch Fort — a UNESCO World Heritage Site. With cobbled streets, colonial villas, art galleries, and boutique cafés, Galle is a favorite among both history lovers and beachgoers. The nearby beaches of Unawatuna, Jungle Beach, and Koggala offer great swimming, diving, and relaxation. It’s a wonderful mix of culture, coast, and cuisine.
